Preston Dibling
A guy with a camera and a cat. - And other stuff.
Hey, I’m Preston! A chill photographer based in Northwest Ohio who loves both the science and art of photography.
My journey started in middle school with a camera and some silly YouTube videos with friends. Since then, I’ve spent over a decade in the photography industry, including more than five years working at a local camera store, assisting other photographers, and photographing weddings and portraits of my own. These days, my 9-to-5 is as a Technical Support Specialist at FJ Westcott, where I test lighting equipment, teach classes, and help photographers get the most out of their gear.
I bring that experience into my own work, photographing weddings, events, and portraits with a focus on lighting, whether natural or flash.
My goal is to make every shoot a relaxed, stress-free experience while creating professional images that feel authentic. I like to have a plan but leave room for creativity, unexpected moments, and the little details that tell a story. I’m not big on chasing trends; I’d rather create vibrant, true-to-color images that stand the test of time. That said, I’m always up for trying something new or bringing your ideas to life.
When I’m not taking photos, I’m probably photographing my cat, Tuna, doing something cute, testing out new gear, starting my 100th new game of some simulator because “this time it will be more efficient,” or playing bass guitar and wondering why my fingers hurt. Oh, right. I don’t practice like I should.
Fun fact: This photo of Tuna was taken with the Fujifilm GFX 100 II. That’s 100 megapixels of feline beauty!
